looks like...

the kids are starting to feel better. I still kept my daughter home from Preschool. I thought yesterday for sure I am getting what they have but apparently, not, woke up this morning feeling just fine. Now I really need to get my house in order, hasn't been all week.
But what am I doing? I am online writing into my blog and listen to my friends husbands Music.
They are called Icons of Industry , and just released their first CD, I went to the party it was a lot of fun.
On the knitting front, I decided yesterday, I did not like the bottom border of the poncho so I am going to redo that, and I am like half way done with the second piece. Hopefully I get to knit some this afternoon. It is cool and rainy here in Central TX, we had some great thunderstorms last night. I love thunderstorms.

feeling blaah

I should be cleaning, got a lot done, but I am just not in the mood today. The kids were sick all weekend, and I am just drained. Managed to change and wash all the sheets and blankets. Vacuumed the kitchen looks ok. Main thing I still need to do, is mop and our bathroom. I am tired, even thou the kids slept till 8am. which is sleeping in for us.
It is gorgeous outside, but cant go, cause Lars' still have a temp. This stinks.
Also ripped the first piece of my poncho apart, after I realized that I don't like the way it looks and it is to small. So I started over 3 times and finally got it to look the way I want. Sheesh, that's the bad thing if you don't actually work with a pattern. I am amazed at how much I enjoy knitting again. I am having fun with it.
Well off to go and clean the rest and then sit down and watch a movie.

what to do???

so it is Thursday my housework is pretty much done, my daughter got her cast off, she is in school, my son is playing and it is freezing in my house. So what should I do? I finished the bags I wanted to make, and decided since they knit up so nicely I should make more of them. I also started my Poncho, I am doing a cable for the first time every and so far so good. So I guess I am going to plant my but on the couch and get knitting until I need to pick my girl up.

Purple Blurp

This is my first felted project. I really enjoyed knitting it, cause it knitted up very fast. I called it Purple Blurp cause it is so purpely and it's a Jimmy Neutron thing. I also finished the poncho pieces for my friend, but need to put it together, going to do that now, so I can go over there in a bit. I'll take pictures when I am done.

I made this poncho for a friend of my daughter, it came out cute. Anika want's one too now, well I don't think I make her one this year, cause it is 80 degrees right now. And I have some projects I wanna make for myself.

My son thinks he is a dog

I have a weird kiddo, he seems to be thinking he is a dog. We were at friends yesterday and they have two dogs, so my son decides to drink from their dogbowl. Yuck

It is done and here it is...

This is it, the cardigan for my friend. I redid the neckline about 3 times until I decided to crochet loops for buttonholes. I sure hope she will like it.

are done for the cardigan. After running to Hobby Lobby twice this week to get more yarn. I know, I know. But now comes the part I really do not like to do. Blocking. So far I blocked one front and a sleeve. I really want to finish it, so I can give to my friend at happy hour (superbowl party).

On other needles right now, I am working on a poncho and also am going to knit a buttonhole bag which is a knit along on one of the groups I belong to.
Other than that not much going on. Except I am freezing my butt off, it is cold here in TX and I realized that it has been way to long since I moved here, I am whimpy to the cold. *snicker

work in progress...

so I am still working on the cardigan, yesterday I had to frog allmost half of the back, cause I noticed a mistake, but needless to say I am back to where I was. So hopefully today I can finish the back and start on the sleeves, then I gotta block the pieces and finally put the whole thing together. I bought really cute black buttons with rinestones in them. I sure hope my friend will like it, cause it sure won't fit me.

I also bought some yarn from www. knitpicks.com , I can't wait for it to get here, cause I wanna knit myself a booga bag.
