We made it...

we are safely in Switzerland. Still a little jet lagged, but other than that we are doing good. The kids are happy to play with their cousin and the weather is nice so they can play outside. Tomorrow we are off into the alps to go sledding. Anika loves the snow, and the mountains, so do I. Not sure about Lars, cause last year, he didn't like the snow.

I am off...

we are leaving tonight, to drive to houston and then tomorrow the kids and I are off to Switzerland to visit my family. We are excited, I also found out that I am allowed to bring knitting needles on board, which means I can take the babyblanket I am working on in my carry on. If I get to knit, is a whole nother story, with both kids on the plane. Last year they were really good, so we see how it goes. I hope to knit while I am at my mom's house, I am bringing some yarn for another babyblanket and I am also bringing yarn to make another booga bag. Mom has internet, so I hope to blog from Switzerland.

busy, busy, busy...

I've been a little busy lately. I did knit two tank tops for Anika, she decided she didn't like one of them, and wants a purple one, gotta think about that. I am also knitting a baby blanket with my neighbor. She taught herself knitting arround Christmas, so she not that so fast, that's why I only knit on the blanket when we knit together. The other thing that keeps me busy, I am going back to Switzerland for a month. So I need to buy stuff and get ready to pack. So that's why I haven't been posting in a bit. And won't much more than I do now.

remember the ugly hat story from January?If not refer to my blog "the ugly hat" Well I finished that one too, and I am quiet happy with the results, don't my men look cute? I wonder if I get some hits from Firefly fans? I think it is a creat Jayne Cobb hat.

my Poncho is done...

it is finished, finally, I made myself something to wear, and I really like it, I knit a cable down the front and I have never done a Cable before. It is knit with Wool Ease, and size 13 needles.
